About Journey's End Sanctuary

Journey's End Ranch Animal Sanctuary is a non-profit, tax exempt 501(c)3 that provides a permanent and loving home to 15 special needs animals - 6 mustangs, 2 burros, 6 dogs and a pig. All of these animals were facing death or slaughter and all have health and emotional challenges.

I am a disabled vet tech with very severe health challenges. I choose to do this work because helping animals is my passion, and because they need it. The prevention of horse slaughter and advocating for wild horses is almost as important to me as the air that I breathe.

How Can You Help?

Due to my health and the economy, I now find it necessary to ask for the generosity of others to help pull us through. I am unable to work, since running the sanctuary is a full time job, and the remainder of my time is spent advocating for wild horses, for the prevention of horse slaughter and for other animal welfare causes.

I do offer consultations in holistic animal care and living with Lyme disease and chronic illness, in exchange for donations. We cannot borrow any more money to support the sanctuary, and only about a third of our needs are currently met by donations. We have added a $5.00 a month option button to one site. There are other donation options, also. $5 is so very little, but if 250 people were to do a monthly donation, we would be fully funded, when my disability income is included. Thank you so much for reading this and caring! I need your help now to save this sanctuary and these animals.
