The Dobermann Club of Western Australia began in 1968 and is still flourishing today thanks to the dedication of Dobermann enthusiasts of today. The Dobermann Club offers a variety of Activities that you and your Dobermann can be involved in.

The formation of Dobermann Club of Western Australia was expressed by a number of Dobermann owners in October 1968 at a meeting held at Osborne Park RSL Hall, and became affiliated with Canine Association of Western Australia in 1969. The first training class in January of 1969 had 20 people attending.

The Dobermann Club of Western Australia is flourishing today thanks to the dedication of Dobermann enthusiasts of today.

The Dobermann Club offers a variety of Activities that you and your Dobermann can be involved in. * If you have purchased a new puppy and would like to socialize it we have puppy preschool classes to get you & your new family member on the way to basic training.

  • For the older puppy or grown adult dog we have obedience classes to suit all stages.
  • If you would like to learn more skills in Show Training we also offer classes to help you on your way.
  • The Club also conducts a Championship & Open Show yearly and a Working Aptitude Evaluation test periodically.
  • The Club also participates in catering to help with much need funding for shows and trials throughout the year!

 

Club Obedience Training

The Dobermann Club meets at the Canine Centre (Corner Ranford and Warton Roads, Southern River) on Tuesday at 8 pm. We train under the pavilion when it rains. Each term of approximately 10 weeks will cost $25.00, which will be collected at the start of the term. Or you may pay $3.00 per week. If you fail to graduate and providing you have attended at least six lessons the cost of repeating the class is discounted by 50%. This discount applies once per Class.
