Druimmuir Spaniels is a small kennel run by Nicola Hannan and Gary Anderson and they are based in Aberdeenshire, North East Scotland. The local area is ideally suited for dog training and spaniels in particular. With many local syndicates and commercial shoots in the area there is no shortage of game experience for the dogs, and all the spaniels and labradors participate in days picking up and beating during the season. The dogs also have days on wildfowl and pigeon shooting and occasional grouse days.

The kennels offer proven dogs at stud to approved bitches, and also have selectively bred litters available from time to time to working and trialling homes (please check the relevant pages for current details). The dogs are a hobby and a passion and are by no means a commercial venture. This website is aimed as a showcase for the dogs and to give people an insight into trialling and training spaniels .

Our affix was inspired by the first of the dogs we brought over from Northern Ireland, they came from a town near to " Dromore" and that town got it's name back in the time of the vikings from the old name "DRUIM MUIR" which means "river ford or crossing.." . The town lies on the banks of the river Lagan and the first springer pups I brought over were bred along Laganmill lines, so I thought it was quite a fitting name bridging our connections between our dogs and their Irish ancestry, and gave us the inspiration to register the affix "DRUIMMUIR".
